Britney Spears Criminal (Video Review)

Britney becomes the new description of a MILF for teenage boys all around the world in her latest video “Criminal”. The boy on the motorcycle rescues Britney from her abusive boyfriend as a altercation becomes physical after she sees him flirting with another girl. Run Away Girl!! The lyric inspired story line displays her very sexy “white girl swag” as she makes out with her new love interest the hero in various scenes and fashionable numbers. Somewhat similar to the countless make out scenes in Rihanna’s “We Found Love” which was released one day before. Spears usual heavy choreography is not a requirement to keep everybody’s eyes glued to her big screen apperances. Sexy outfits, hot make out scenes, and gun play will do the job!!

Nicki Minaj Fashion Roller Coaster (2009-2011)

From one red carpet to another, Nicki Minaj manages to create controversy around what she is wearing. Trail & Error is an evident factor between Nicki and her stylist, due to her up and down fashion sense. Is she taking the Hip-hop Lady Gaga thing to seriously? Take a look for yourself…

Keri Hilson… Still Laughable?? (PMS)

It appears that Keri Hilson has made an extensive effort to become “That B*tch” during the era of No Boys Allowed”. She has went through a series of changes such as style, which at times looked as if she went through a little trial and error, but hoped for a positive outcome. She lost her tom boyish ways, became a blonde, and picked up a new glamour girl look. UP UP Here we go!! “Pretty Girl Rock”, The Song, took over a month to enter the Billboards at #76 on the #HotHipHopandR&B Charts, was released as a second single of the album. #PGR received praise from critics while others called Hilson vain for calling herself beautiful that many times in one song. However, this was the song that was supposed to carry the album hence “Breaking Point” failed to chart the #Hot100.

#PGR was radio friendly, like nothing we overheard from her (Not Her Style), and it was a female anthem. Pretty Girl Rock went on to become the most successful single of the album, peaking at #26 on #Hot100 Charts receiving a platinum certification. With that being said, #NBA sold 187,000 to date while her debut work In a Perfect World… has received a Gold Cetification seling over 500,000.

What did the change do for her Career?

Knock You Down and Turning Me On were her most successful singles charting at #3 and #15 respectively on the #Hot100. Unlike Hilsons debut album, #NBA has not been able to chart several singles on the chart even with the heavy promo it has received. So what must Keri do to become an international superstar??  She could consistently drop an album every year for the next 5 years and perhaps she will build a stable fanbase. The Music is GOOD,  Performance could be better NO MORE LIPSYNCING, and the Swag is on its way. Rihanna 2 albums in was still laughable, now 4 albums later and she is one of the biggest female artist in the industry. Note to Keri: KEEP GRINDING

#PGR = Pretty Girl Rock  #NBA = No Boys Allowed

Hit & Miss Peformances

MISS!!

In this performance of her 4th and final single #NBA “Lose Control”, she fails to capture attention with her dance moves as she lyp syncs her way through the performance.

HIT!!

Pretty Girls Rock!! She kill’s this performance as she demonstrates just what it takes to be a Pretty Girl without missing a beat.

Love On Top (Full) Video Release + Review

10 seconds is all you need to notice that production may have occurred at an earlier date, due to the fact that there is no visible baby bump. Which is understandable noting the high energy choreography, reminiscent of New Edition or Jackson 5 type dance moves.  Beyonce and her group of male back-up singers go through several outfit changes, which become even more flashy, with each inversion of the chorus. The second verse is excluded from the video, which is somewhat of an disappointment. However, a great ideal would have been for her to include some pregnant scenes with the hubby Jay-Z. Who knows, maybe well get the missing piece on a, 4 Video Anthology DVD, I’ve been  attempting to speak into existence!!

SN: It has been whispered that Knowles has already recorded a video for most of the songs on the album. (Story Developing)

HOT NEW REMIX: Dance (A$$) – Big Sean ft Nicki Minaj + Review

Just when you thought you could start sleeping on Nicki she collabs with Big Sean and  lays some fire hot rhymes on the Dance (A$$) Remix. “IM STILL THE QUEEN !!” is what she exudes throughout her entire 1 minute and some verse. It’s a refreshing return to the “old Mixtape Nicki” as she says the word pu**y almost 5 times and ask to be directed to the Best A** Eater. Leaves me oozing with anticipation to see what the upcoming sophomore album has to offer!! Take a listen here…

Crazy Over Nicki!!

Little girls get the surprise of there life when Nicki Minaj surprises them on the “The Ellen Degeneres Show”

SN: Nicki’s Unofficial Mixtape “Death to Barbie” is something to feast your ears on until the anticipated Sophomore album is released Get It Here —–>

“Lay it on Me” Video Release

Kelly Rowland Finally releases the anticipated video for “Lay it on Me”.  The video was directed by Sarah Chatfield who has previously worked with Rowland on singles such as “Motivation” and “Forever in a Day.”

SN: Lay it on Me has charted at #47 on the #TopHipHopandR&B Charts

WhyKidd’s Review:

Kelly Rowland shows her stuff as she struts across the set showing off her curves in a various sexy numbers. Somewhat reminiscent of  the “Motivation” video she magnifies on sexuality and the art of the human body. Rowland’s new found confidence and growth as a performer is present and very refreshing to watch on the big screen. Although the dance scenes are very sparse there are plenty of other visuals that will keep your attention throughout the video.

Roc Nation Artist J.Cole Debuts at #1

J. Cole ‘s debut album “Cole World: The Side Line Story” lands the #1 spot bringing in 218,000 in the first week. Quite impressive, or not? Drake who was also brought aboard by Lil’ Wayne, a rap mogul, landed the #1 bringing in 447,000 with  his debut album “Thank Me Later”. Lastly, Rapper Big Sean, an artist of Kanye West, too debuted at #1 but only selling 87,000. All rookies who are signed with some of the best rappers in the game, but does these first week artist show who can build the hype of a new rap artist?
